Cold Process Soap Making

COME MAKE SOAP WITH US! 

Make it a party with your friends and family! We encourage you to bring drinks and/or snacks for your group to enjoy! Mix and mingle and make soap with us!

In this soap making experience, we will walk you through making your own cold processed soap using natural oils, butters, fragrance oils and lye. You will make a small batch of soap (5 bars) or a large batch of soap (10 bars) by combining ingredients start to finish.

Cold process soap making offers endless creative options and gives you a useful, practical end product.  Great for gift giving or to treat yourself! By purchasing the large batch you will have more creative freedom with more color choices, while the small batch will limit you to a max of two colors. 

We will be there to walk you through each step along the way:

You will get to customize your soap with your choice of scent, colors & designs. You are only limited by your imagination!

Once your soap design is COMPLETE, it will need to cure for 24 hours before it is able to be cut.  Once cut we will box and label them with your name/group. You may pick them up anytime after they are cut with a max of 4 week hold. If you are unable to make it back we can also ship them to you for an additional charge. (Choose shipping at checkout)
Your soaps will need to cure 4-6 weeks before use.

Safety First!
We recommend wearing clothes that you won't mind if oil may splash on. 
Gloves, apron, saftety glasses will be provided.
Your soap should be cured for a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks before use.

PRICING - $40 - 180/person
Each person will make their own loaf of soap (5 - 30 bars)

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable (i.e., we do not offer refunds). If you cannot attend a class that you have committed to, please refer to the options below.
Rescheduling Option: Must give advance notice.
No Credits/Refunds for No Shows: If you sign up for a class & do not call or show up FOR ANY REASON the entire class fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, and  nontransferable.

AGE REQUIREMENT: The handling of lye will be required. If you feel your child 11+ is mature enough and will be accompanied by a supervising adult they may participate.

WHAT TO BRING: Included is everything you will need to make your cold process soap – simply show up! If you would like to bring finger foods for your group you may do so. We will have a table available to setup on.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:
PLEASE BE ON TIME! Classes will begin promptly as there are other events/classes scheduled shortly after.
Please dress in comfortable clothing (making soap is FUN but can also get messy)
